A third site is being built at the Container Terminal Mostyska (the company Mostyska Dry Port) to provide additional operational capabilities and increase the terminal's cargo turnover.

The terminal’s Director Dmytro Kobzar announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports, citing the publication Elevatorist.

"Narrow- and broad-gauge tracks will be laid here, as a result of which we will have three container platforms," he said.

The new container line will have an RMG port crane, which will increase the speed of cargo handling and storage volumes.

According to Kobzar, the new site is scheduled to be launched in the third quarter of 2024.

He added that handling agricultural products is one of the key areas of the terminal's operations. The elevator with a storage capacity of 4,000 tons located at the terminal is a buffer for the transshipment of agricultural products from train to train.

As the CFTS portal previously reported, the company Mostyska Dry Port, known as Container Terminal Mostyska (CTM), handled over 72,400 TEU of containerized cargo in 2023.
