The Odessa international airport’s passenger traffic increased by 16.6% to 998,100 in the period of January-November 2013, compared with the corresponding period of 2012.

According to the press service of the airport, the airport’s international passenger traffic increased by 21.6% to 821,300 while its domestic passenger traffic totaled 176,800 during January-November.

The 13,590 flights that were performed in the first 11 months of this year were practically the same as the number of flights performed in the corresponding period of last year.

The Odessa airport received and sent 77,000 passengers in November, an increase of 15% compared with November last year. The number of flights performed was 1,145.

The Odessa airport is one of the largest airports in Ukraine. It occupies an area of 571.14 hectares and has a runway with a length of 2,800 meters. A passenger terminal and a cargo complex are located on its territory.
