Ukrainian airports handled 6.857 million passengers in the period from January to September 2020, which is 62.9% fewer passengers than they handled in the corresponding period of 2019.

According to information published on the website of the State Aviation Service of Ukraine, the number of international passengers handled by Ukrainian airports reduced by 63.7% to 6.063 million during this period, the CFTS portal reports, citing the Interfax Ukraine news agency.

According to statistics from the State Aviation Service, Ukrainian airlines handled almost 3.770 million passengers in the period from January to September this year, which is 64.7% fewer passengers than they handled in the corresponding period of 2019. Of these, 3.380 million were international passengers (a reduction of 65.4%, compared with the corresponding period of 2019).

Ukrainian airlines performed 33,500 commercial flights in the first nine months of 2020 (a 58% reduction), including 26,700 international commercial flights (a 60.1% reduction).

As the CFTS portal reported earlier, Ukrainian airports handled 5.895 million passengers in the period from January to August 2020, which is 63.3% fewer passengers than they handled in the corresponding period of 2019.
