Ukraine's airports handled 3,237,400 passengers in the period of January-February 2020, which is a 15% increase compared with the corresponding period of 2019, the CFTS portal reports, citing data from the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine.
According to the data, 2,912,700 out of the total number of passengers handled by Ukrainian airports were on international flights. The volume of international passengers handled by Ukrainian airports increased by 16.6% compared with the corresponding period of 2019.
Ukrainian airlines transported 1,546,600 passengers in the first two months of this year, a 3.1% increase compared with the corresponding period of last year. They performed 12,700 flights in the period of January-February 2020, a 2.9% reduction compared with the corresponding period of last year. They performed 10,500 international flights during this period, a 2.6% reduction compared with the corresponding period of last year.
As reported earlier, the volume of passenger traffic through Ukrainian airports increased by 18.45% to 24.3 million in 2019, compared with 2018, according to data from the State Aviation Service.
