The Zaporizhia international airport handled 369,500 passengers in the period of January-November 2018, a 16% increase compared with the corresponding period of 2017, the CFTS portal reports, citing information from the airport.
"Passenger traffic through the Zaporizhia airport increased in the first 11 months of 2018, compared with the same period in 2017. The airport handled 369,502 passengers in total during this period, which is 16% more than it handled last year. The number of international airline passengers increased by 19.47% to 282,502. The number of domestic airline passengers increased by 6% to 87,000,” the airport said.
Passenger traffic through the airport increased by 10.3% in November 2018, compared with November 2017. The airport handled 25,110 passengers on international flights (a 20.6% increase) and 8,060 on domestic flights (a 13% reduction) during the month.
Passenger traffic through the airport increased by 17% in the first 10 months of 2018 and by 19% in the first nine months of the year.
