President Petro Poroshenko has said that Poland will give Ukraine EUR 100 million for establishment of crossings on the Ukrainian-Polish border, Insider reports.

"The government of Poland will give Ukraine EUR 100 million for establishment of joint border crossings on the border," Poroshenko said on Twitter.

Poroshenko also said that Poland would provide consultative assistance related to the launch of the free trade area between Ukraine and the European Union in 2016. "For us, Poland will be like a springboard for penetration of Ukrainian goods into the EU market," Poroshenko said.

As reported, Poroshenko will meet with President of Poland Andrzej Duda, who is paying his first official visit to Ukraine, behind closed doors.
