The Aurum Group plans to triple production of freight cars at the facilities of Diesel Plant LLC in 2019 and increase its own fleet of gondola cars by 300.
This was announced by the Aurum Group’s founder Aliona Lebedeva, the CFTS portal reports.
“We will continue to invest in increase of our own gondola fleet in 2019. We also plan to increase production of gondola cars and hopper grain carriers for meeting the market’s needs by developing our own production facilities,” Lebedeva said.
According to the founder of the Aurum Group, the group plans to invest both its own funds and bank loans in increase of its own fleet of freight cars.
"We have signed a number of lease agreements with the First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB), under the terms of which we plan to build 75 freight cars, of which 40 are ready at the Diesel Plant," said Lebedeva.
The Aurum Group had a fleet of 522 gondola cars as of the beginning of February 2019.
As the CFTS portal reported earlier, the Aurum Group had increased its fleet of freight cars to 509 as of November last year. The company built 92 wagons at its own facilities from the beginning of 2018 to November.
