A ship carrying Ukrainian wheat stolen by the Russian occupiers to Syria passed through the Bosporus on May 18.

This was reported by Yoruk Ishik, a traffic observer in the strait, the CFTS portal reports citing the Latifundist publication.

According to the information available, the Murmansk Shipping Company operates the Russian-flagged bulk carrier Grumant. It was carrying 20,000 tons of stolen Ukrainian wheat, loaded in the Sevastopol port.

A screenshot from a video shows that the ship's name has been painted over. Its destination is the Lebanese port of Tripoli.

The transportation of Ukrainian grain from Sevastopol to Lebanon by ships linked to Syria has become systematic.
