The Boryspil airport’s former general director Borys Shakhsuvarov has been appointed as the deputy head of the airport, a source in the industry has told the Center for Transport Strategies.

However, the press services of the Ministry of Infrastructure and airport did not confirmed the information about the appointment.

"An organizational structure is currently being created at the company. It is prematurely to talk about candidates for top management positions,” the press service of the airport told the Center for Transport Strategies.

Shakhsuvarov headed the Boryspil airport from 2008 to 2011. He was the first deputy general director of the airport from 1994 to 1999.
