The Ministry of Infrastructure and the authorities in Seoul (South Korea) are developing a system that will allow online monitoring of every section of road on which repairs are being performed. Minister of Infrastructure Volodymyr Omelian announced this at a news briefing in Lviv on Monday, 10 April, the Interfax Ukraine news agency reports.

"Together with the municipality of Seoul, we are developing a more advanced Cost system that will not only provide for monitoring of actual data (works ordered, tenders, and materials used), but also video monitoring of every section of repair work online," the minister said.

According to him, the Cost system is already fully operational and another system for monitoring the quality of road works (FIDIC) is expected to be launched in pilot mode this year.
