The Transaero airline company has begun operating low-cost flights from the Domodedovo Airport (Moscow) to cities in Russia and abroad, the press service of the carrier has announced.

In addition, the company sells tickets for flights to four cities in Ukraine (Kiev, Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk, and Odessa) at reduced prices.

On January 14, the first day of launch of its new low-cost product called Discount Class, the airline company carried about 5,000 passengers on 54 Discount Class flights, using Boeing 737 and Tu-214 aircraft.

All the seats on aircraft are available under the Discount Class program. Passengers buying tickets at the Y rate will fly in business-class seats. This category of passengers is also entitled to increased baggage allowance (20 kilograms) and discounts in the airline company’s business lounge at airports.
