Turkish Airlines will launch regular flights from Zaporizhia to Istanbul Ataturk Airport on December 28, the carrier's press office reports.

The flights will be operated four times per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The aiplanes will depart from Istanbul at 16:15, from Zaporizhia – at 19:00. Travel time will be about two hours.

The cost of roundtrip ticket cost, including luggage transportation and food, stars at USD 129.

As reported earlier, Turkish lowcost airline Pegasus also intends to launch flights from Zaporizhia airport, offering tickets for the same price (USD 129). Pegasus flights will be started from Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport on December 11.

In Ukraine Turkish Airlines operates flights from Istanbul to Kiev, Lviv, Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk and Kherson.
