"We offered smart prices in test mode in September to assess the level of demand for this proposal. In general, Ukrainians have expressed interest in the proposal - the number of those wishing to buy tickets at the lowest possible prices increased from day to day. For example, 25% of all the tickets that were sold for Kiev-Amsterdam flights in September were purchased by passengers at smart prices," UIA’s Director of Sales in Ukraine Andrii Pavlenko is quoted as saying in a press release.

Previously, the smart price applied to tickets purchased on the territory of Ukraine until October 1, 2014.

Founded in 1992, the UIA is the largest airline company in Ukraine. It is based at the Boryspil airport and has a fleet of 39 aircraft: five Embraer 190s, 31 Boeing 737s (including 12 new-generation aircraft and one cargo plane), and three Boeing 767s.
