Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) performed the first charter flight of 2018 on the Chernivtsi-Antalya route in the early hours of May 27. The flight was operated on a Boeing 737 airliner with the registration number UR-GAT. The airliner departed from Chernivtsi at 00:54 and arrived in Antalya at 02:51, the CFTS portal reports. The airliner later departed on the return flight.
According to the Chernivtsi airport’s flight timetable, UIA’s charter flights to Antalya will be performed twice a week (on Saturdays and Sundays) until October 7.
As reported, Bravo Airways resumed operation of charter flights from Chernovtsy to Antalya on May 2. It was announced that a total of five charter flights per week would be performed from Chernivtsi to Antalya (including flights by the Yanair airline).
In total, 3,600 passengers flew on charter flights from Chernivtsi to Antalya in 2017.
