The rehabilitation work is taking place on a section of the T-26-01 highway where there is an access road to the Shepit border crossing in the Bukovinian Subcarpathian highlands.

Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) has begun selling tickets for Kyiv-Chernivtsi flights at prices starting at UAH 604 for one-way tickets and UAH 1,126 for roundtrip tickets.
Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) will begin operating regular flights from Kyiv to Chernivtsi on 1 July.
The Chernivtsi airport authority is in talks with two Romanian air carriers on launching regular and charter flights to the airport.
