Ukrainian airports handled 14.906 million passengers in January-November 2021, which is 83% more than the number of passengers that they handled in the same period in 2020, the CFTS portal reports, citing the Interfax Ukraine news agency.
The number of international passengers handled by Ukrainian airports increased by 88.9% to almost 13.573 million during this period.
Ukrainian airlines transported 8.823 million passengers (a 94.6% increase) in January-November 2021, including 8.164 million international passengers (100.9% increase).
Airlines performed 69,000 commercial flights (a 68.3% increase) in January-November 2021, including 56,200 international flights (74% increase).
As the CFTS portal reported earlier, Ukrainian airports handled 13.628 million passengers in January-October 2021, which is 78% more than they handled in the corresponding period of 2020. The number of international passengers handled by Ukrainian airports increased by 83.2% to almost 12.404 million during this period.
Ukrainian airports handled 22.6 million passengers in the first 11 months of the pre-crisis 2019.
