More than UAH 1 trillion is needed for repair of all the roads in Ukraine. Oleksandr Kava, an adviser to the head of the Ukrainian Road Service (Ukravtodor), announced this on the 112 Ukraine television channel on November 20, the CFTS reports.
According to him, UAH 600 billion is necessary for repair of state roads and almost the same amount for repair of local roads, control of which was transferred to regional administrations on January 1 have.
"In total, it is more than UAH 1 trillion because 94% of roads of national and local significance are in poor condition," said Kava.
As the CTS reported, UAH 11 billion has already been allocated from the state budget for repair of local roads.
