This is 2.5 times more than the losses in the same period of last year and nine times more than the losses in 2013," the Ukrainian High-Speed Rail Company said.
In addition, according to the company, prices of materials, fuel, electricity, and spare parts, as well as the cost of repairs, are expected to rise further in 2016.

According to recent reports, Ukrzaliznytsia’s losses from passenger transportation amounted to almost UAH 5.5 billion in the period of January-September 2015.
