The Ukrainian Railways public joint-stock company (Ukrzaliznytsia) will include 10 compartment cars and one "luxury" car in the “Train of Four Capitals" (the Kyiv-Minsk-Vilnius-Riga train). This was announced by Ukrzaliznytsia’s acting Board Chairman Yevhen Kravtsov.

"There will be 10 compartment cars and one luxury-class car in the train. We are already preparing a new livery, so that the Ukrainian carriages can be seen from a distance," Kravtsov wrote on Facebook.

According to Ukrzaliznytsia’s press service, the train will be made up of 10 and not 11 cars - nine compartment cars and one ‘luxury’ car. Six of the compartment cars will be divided into male and female.

The train will depart for Riga (via Minsk and Vilnius) for the first time on September 28 and subsequently operate weekly. It will cover the distance in 19 hours.

"We are currently finalizing ticket prices with the railway administrations of Belarus, Lithuania, and Latvia. We will announce the prices. The will be democratic," Kravtsov wrote.
