Almost 1,000 wagons loaded with Ukrainian agricultural products were at Ukrainian-Russian border crossings as of 8 May.

Valerii Tkachov, the deputy director of the department of commercial operations at the Ukrainian Railways joint-stock company (Ukrzaliznytsia), announced this in a statement the CFTS portal reports.

In particular, according to him, 155 wagons (on railway tracks of the 1520 mm gauge) that have not been allowed through by the Polish regulatory authorities have been at the Yahodyn - Dorohusk border crossing (at the Dorohusk train station in Poland) for a long time.

"There are 278 wagons (on railway tracks of the 1520 mm gauge) at Ukrainian train stations, including 92 wagons carrying transit cargo," he said.

The PKP Cargo logistics operator (Poland) is not accepting these wagons, and it has not accepted 41 semi-wagons (on railway tracks of the 1435 mm gauge) loaded with transit cargo since 26 March.

Tkachov added that 15 flatcars carrying 60 containers of grain were delivered to Poland on railway tracks of the 1435 mm gauge on 7 May.

Five wagons operating on railway tracks of the 1520 mm gauge are at Ukrainian train stations at the Mostyska II - Medyka border crossing, waiting for PKP Cargo to agree to transport them in transit to the Netherlands based on a letter from the Atlant Agro company.

"Cargoes are being delivered via tracks of the 1435 mm gauge without hindrance. On 7 May, 31 grain trucks carrying grain were handed over to Poland," the deputy director of Ukrzaliznytsia’s department of commercial operations said.

There are 440 wagons (on railway tracks of the 1520 mm gauge) at the Izov - Hrubieszów border crossing (the Hrubieszów train station in Poland). The Polish regulatory authorities have slowed the authorization of these wagons.

There are 963 wagons (1520 mm track gauge) at Ukrainian train stations (through Hrubieszów), including 83 wagons carrying transit cargo.

"On 7 May, 76 wagons carrying grain, 101 wagons carrying press cakes, and 12 wagons carrying oil were delivered to Poland on tracks of the 1520 mm gauge," Tkachov said.
