Almost 9.5 Million Tons Of Grain Transported By Rail In First Half Of 2022

This is 1.6 million tons less than the volume in the same period in 2021.

In total, 9.45 million tons of grain cargoes were transported by rail in Ukraine in the first half of 2022.

The CFTS portal reported this, citing the Rail Insider publication.

This represents a reduction of 1.683 million tons or 15.7%, compared with the same period in 2021.

The export of grain cargoes almost doubled from 416,000 to 805,000 tons per month from March to June this year.
