A new tram, which is the first of several trams that are planned for assembly this year, was presented at the Odesmiskelektrotrans municipal company’s wagon repair facility on Friday, July 7, the Passenger Transport publication reports.
The vehicle is distinguished by an updated interior, the design of which was developed by specialists who previously worked on the interiors of Ukrainian high-speed trains.
Externally, the tram does not differ from its six predecessors that were assembled at the facility in the period of 2015-2016. The vehicle will begin transporting passengers in Odesa within 2-3 days.
In total, Odesmiskelektrotrans plans to assemble 10 trams this year.
