The Belavia, LOT, and WizzAir airlines will launch international flights from the Kyiv airport on June 16.

The airport announced his in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.

"The Belavia, LOT, and WizzAir airlines have announced their readiness to resume international flights from the Kyiv airport on June 16. The Motor Sich airline is ready to operate flights to Zaporizhia," the statement said. "The destinations to which flights will resume on June 16 are Minsk (Belavia), Warsaw (LOT), and Billund, Athens, Berlin, Vilnius, Nuremberg, Larnaca, Vienna, Bremen, Riga, Lisbon, Hanover, and Gdansk (WizzAir)." 

As the CFTS portal reported previously, the Kyiv airport expects to recover 30% of its passenger traffic by the end of 2020. The airport has appealed to the government to intervene in the determination of the flight timetable to ensure that it has 30% of the passenger traffic and the Boryspil airport 70%.
