Kryukov Railcar Works Cuts Production Of Freight Cars By 42% In January 2020

The Kryukov Railcar Building Works (Kremenchuk, Poltava region) reduced production of freight cars by 42.5% to 253 in January 2020, compared with January last year.

This was announced in the Kremenchuk newspaper, the CFTS portal reports.

The Kryukov Railcar Building Works produced 440 freight cars in January 2019.

According to the announcement, the company did not produce passenger cars in January 2020 and produced only five in January 2019.

The Kryukov Railcar Building Works has also not assembled General Electric locomotives since the beginning of 2020. It assembled four in January 2019.

As the CFTS portal reported earlier, the Kryukov Railcar Building Works produced more than 5,000 wagons in 2019. Compared with 2018, the Kryukov Railcar Building Works increased production of freight cars by almost 42%.
