The Kryukov Railcar Building Works (Kremenchuk, Poltava region) increased production of freight cars by 308 or 27.8% to 1,415 in the period of January-September 2017, compared with the corresponding period of 2016, the Kremenchuk newspaper reports, citing a report that the Kryukov Railcar Building Works submitted to the Kremenchuk city executive committee.

In addition, the Kryukov Railcar Building Works produced 26 passenger cars in the period of January-September 2017, compared with none during the corresponding period of 2016.

The Kryukov Railcar Building Works also modernized 15 subway cars in 2017.

As reported, he Kryukov Railcar Building Works produced 1,269 freight cars and 16 passenger cars in the period of January-August this year.

The Kryukov Railcar Building Works had supplied 13 new passenger cars to the Ukrainian Railways public joint-stock company (Ukrzaliznytsia) as of October 3.

In total, the Kryukov Railcar Building Works is due to supply 38 passenger cars to Ukrzaliznytsia this year, 11 of which will be equipped with transformable furniture.
