The Kyiv airport (Zhulyany) reopened to international scheduled flights on June 16.
The airport announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.
According to the Kyiv airport’s online flight information display system, the airport received the Belavia flight from Minsk at 23:27.
The airport previously announced that it would not be handling scheduled international passenger flights until 03:00 local time on June 17, 2020, due to the extension of the COVID-19 quarantine in Kyiv in accordance with the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers resolution No. 392 dated May 20, 2020.
As reported, according to the airport’s flight schedule, the WizzAir airline was scheduled to perform flights to the airport from Warsaw, Krakow, London, Dortmund, Budapest, Memmingen, and Tallinn on June 17. The Belavia airline was also scheduled to perform flights from Minsk to the airport.
