"We plan to open more than 30 charging stations for electric cars jointly with one of the largest country’s chains of gasoline filling stations within a few weeks, and this is only part of the project. We plan to open a chain of charging stations, which will not be as powerful as those of Tesla, but owners of all brands of electric vehicles will be able to enjoy them,” Tesla Club Ukraine’s head Nazar Shymone-Davyda said in an interview with the CFTS portal.

“Such stations will be opened at hotels and various complexes on major Ukrainian highways. They will simply buy and install this charger on their premises on the condition that customers arriving will be able to charge their vehicles free... Nonetheless, they will still be in the black - one and a half cup of coffee covers the charging cost,” he said.

These charging stations will not be as powerful as those of Tesla (22 kW compared to the Tesla Supercharger’s 135 kW). In addition, they produce alternating current, which is converted to direct current by the automobile’s internal hardware. Therefore, these stations are much cheaper, but the charging time of a car is slightly longer.
