The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has ordered transfer of the entire assets of the Donetsk Railway’s structural units that are located in cities in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions controlled by the Ukrainian authorities to the Pridniprovska and Yuzhnaya railways. The order was approved by the government directive No. 1284 of 29 December 2014, the Interfax Ukraine news agency reports.
After completing an inventory of the state assets on the balance sheet of the Donetsk railway’s structural units located in these regions, the Ministry of Infrastructure and the State Railway Administration (Ukrzaliznytsia) are instructed to transfer these assets to the Pridniprovska and Yuzhnaya railways.
The Cabinet of Ministers also instructed that temporary territorial boundaries of the Pridniprovska, Yuzhnaya, and Donetsk railways should be established until the end of the government’s anti-terrorist operation.
The Ministry of Infrastructure and Ukrzaliznytsia were also instructed to establish the coordinates of the boundaries of the Pridniprovska, Yuzhnaya, and Donetsk railways specified in this directive in consultation with the Security Service of Ukraine.
