The Mykolaiv airport is preparing to receive the first regular flight from Kyiv before the end of the year.
The airport’s acting Director Fedir Barna announced this to the CFTS portal.
“The airport is ready, and we will soon launch a flight to Kyiv,” Barna said when asked to confirm the CFTS portal’s information that regular flights will be launched between Kyiv and Mykolaiv in December 2018.
According to the CFTS portal’s sources, regular flights between Kyiv and Mykolaiv will be launched from the Kyiv (Zhulyany) airport on December 21. The flights will be performed by the Dream Wind airline.
However, the press service of the Kyiv airport did not confirm this information.
As the CFTS portal reported earlier, the Dream Wind airline has a fleet of two Boeing 737-300 airliners. The first was produced in 1990 and the second in 1991.
As reported recently, the first international flight from the Mykolaiv airport is scheduled for December 26. It is expected to be a charter flight to Sharm el-Sheikh (Egypt).
