The Onur company has been selected as the new contractor for the construction of the airfield at the Dnipro airport.

This was announced in a statement in the ProZorro public procurement system, the CFTS portal reports, citing the Mintrans website.

Turkish company won the auction for construction of the airfield with an offer of UAH 5.64 billion.

Onur’s only competitor was the Rostdorbud company.

As reported previously, the Infrastructure Project Financing state enterprise (Fininpro) terminated the UAH-3.95-billion agreement with Altis Construction for construction of the airfield at the Dnipro international airport in late July this year and announced a new tender for construction of the airport at the expected cost of UAH 5.71 billion.

A runway with a length of 3.2 kilometers is planned for construction at the Dnipro airport.
