The Boryspil airport handled 303,399 passengers in November 2020 or 73.3% fewer than the 1.137 million it handled in the corresponding period of last year.

The Boryspil airport announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.

Regular flights from/to the airport were used by 179,726 passengers (a 78.9% reduction compared with November last year) and non-regular flights by 123,673 passengers (54.6% reduction).

The airport handled 13,200 transfer passengers (4.4% of its total passenger traffic) in November 2020, which is 93.4% fewer than the number of transfer passengers it handled in the corresponding period of last year.

According to the statement, the total volume of the passenger traffic through the airport in the first 11 months of this year was 4.834 million, which is 66% less than its passenger traffic of 14.206 million in the corresponding period of last year.

The volume of transfer passengers also reduced in the period from January to November this year. The airport handled 448,700 transfer passengers in the first eleven months of this year (9.3% of its total passenger traffic), which is 85.4% fewer than the number in the corresponding period of last year.

The number of passengers on regular flights from/to the Boryspil airport reduced by 72% to 2.962 million and the number on non-regular flights reduced by 46% to 1.871 million in the period of January-November 2020, compared with the corresponding period of last year.

As the CFTS portal reported, the volume of passenger traffic through the Boryspil airport reduced by 67.3% to 472,544 in October 2020, compared with the same month in 2019.
