The Kyiv-Zhulyany airport handled 1.852 million passengers in 2017, which is 64.2% more than it handled in the previous year. By comparison, the number of passengers handled by the airport increased by 19.4% in 2016.

According to the airport, it handled 1.768 million passengers on international flights and 83,000 on domestic flights in 2017.

In total, the airport handled 23,257 flights (both arrivals and departures), which is 27.3% more than it handled in the previous year. International flights totaled 19,115 and domestic flights 4,142.

The Kyiv international airport is located 7 kilometers from the city center. It is the second largest airport in Ukraine in terms of number of flights and passenger traffic. The airport has three terminals with a total area of 21,000 square meters. It is capable of receiving aircraft of the types Boeing 737, Airbus A320, and others.
