An explosion of ammunition at a military unit has damaged a railway in the Dzhankoy district of the Russian-annexed Crimea.

Anton Heraschenko, an adviser to Ukraines’ minister of internal affairs, announced this in the Telegram app, the CFTS portal reports.

According to him, the so-called Crimean "authorities" are stopping all passenger trains coming from the mainland.

In Dzhankoy, Russia transferred its military equipment to southern Ukraine by rail.
