The reconstruction of the Kernel agricultural holding’s Transbulk Terminal, which was damaged in a Russian attack, could take 1.5-2 years.

This was stated by the company’s CEO Yevhen Osipov, the CFTS portal reports, citing the publication Latifundist.

According to him, this is a very long process because the infrastructure is still at risk.

"The reconstruction of the terminal is a difficult process. We only recently finished shipping grain from the damaged silos. It took us six months. Unfortunately, we lost a lot of that grain. We immediately announced that about 60,000 tons were damaged or lost there," he said.

Osipov added that the company has several partnerships on “dry ports,” but they are not considered as an object of investment.

"Unfortunately, the potential share of our exports by land is no more than 15%. There is no volume there that would satisfy the country," said the Kernel CEO.
