The Risoil group of companies has decided to resume the last phase of the investment project involving the construction of a two-sided pier in the port of Chornomorsk.

According to the company, it was forced to stop the construction work on 24 February, when it was at the stage of installation of technological equipment. The entire complex is currently more than 80% complete.

The company plans to complete the project in 3-4 months.

"We believe in the Armed Forces and that Ukraine will definitely win. Our task now is to continue what we have and what we know how to do—invest in the development of port infrastructure, pay taxes, and pay wages to our employees—as best as possible. First, we thank the Ukrainian defenders for the opportunity to do all this today," Risoil said.

As reported previously, the construction of the facility began in April 2021. For its implementation, the company reached an agreement on dredging with the Ukrainian Seaports Authority (USPA). The USPA completed dredging works on the approaches to the structure in January 2022. This will allow vessels with drafts of up to 15 meters to be processed.

Risoil emphasized that such a two-sided pier is unique for Ukrainian ports. It will be equipped with a ship loading system with six booms, each with a capacity of up to 1,500 tons per hour, as well as a pneumatic ship unloader with a nominal capacity of 600 tons per hour.
