The Ministry of Infrastructure has ordered enterprises and agencies under its control to ensure live web broadcast of the process of determination of the winners of tenders. Deputy Transport Minister Volodymyr Omelian announced this on his Facebook page and published the relevant order signed by the Transport Minister Andrii Pyvovarskyi.
The document is addressed to the State Railway Administration (Ukrzaliznytsia), Ukrainian railways, Ukrzaliznychpostach, the Boryspil airport, the Administration of Seaports of Ukraine, the Ukrposhta postal agency, and UkSATSE.
The document states that these enterprises and agencies should ensure announcement of the time and place of determination of the outcome of tenders on their websites three days ahead of schedule, immediately inform the Ministry of Infrastructure about it, and specify the coordinates for accessing the online broadcasts. Recordings of the broadcasts should be publicly available to everyone.
According to Omelian, selection of the winners of tenders will also be broadcast on the website of the Ministry of Infrastructure "as soon as we find money for e-governance."
"In addition, the minister asked the heads and deputy heads of structural divisions to give consent to publication of their declarations for 2013," Omelian wrote.
He also said that 1-3 experts from the European Union would soon begin working in the ministry, helping to implement the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union.
