The SkyUp airlines set its absolute record for the number of flights in May, when it performed 1,419 flights, including 870 charter flights, 519 regular flights, and 30 more positional and training flights, the CFTS portal reports.

"Our second record was for the largest daily number of flights performed in all our three years of operation. We reached 60 flights in May," the airline said in a statement.

According to the statement, the airline carried 209,924 passengers in May, including 152,835 passengers on chartered flights and 57,089 passengers on regular flights.

In addition, the airline transported 41,459.16 kilograms of cargo on passenger flights.

"Most of the passengers that the airline transported on charter flights in May traveled to Sharm el-Sheikh (30,770), Antalya (26,159), and Hurghada (12,407)," the air carrier said.

Most of the passengers on its regular flights traveled to Istanbul (6,965), Tbilisi (6,046), and Batumi (4,222).

"We continued to launch new destinations from Kyiv and Ukrainian regions for our passengers in May. The following domestic and international routes were added to the SkyUp flight map: from Kyiv to Bodrum, Izmir, and Odesa; from Odesa to Batumi, Kharkiv, and Lviv; from Lviv to Tirana; from Kharkiv to Larnaca, Tivat, and Tirana; and from Zaporizhia to Istanbul, Batumi, and Tirana," SkyUp said.

As the CFTS portal reported, SkyUp has announced that it will launch flights on the Lviv-Baku-Lviv route on July 5, 2021.
