Tickets for the Kyiv-Lviv-Przemysl high-speed train will be available online from the middle of next month. Wojciech Balczun, the board chairman of the Ukrainian Railways public joint-stock company (Ukrzaliznytsia), announced this at a press conference in Odesa on Friday, May 19, the CFTS reports.

"We have worked intensely with the Polish side… It was necessary to integrate two computer systems and take the time difference into account," Balczun said.

As reported, the Kyiv-Przemysl route was launched on December 23. Hyundai trains are operated on the route. Passengers asked Ukrzaliznytsia to launch online sale of tickets for the train immediately after the launch of the train. Balczun promised in December last year that the company would seek a solution to this problem.

As the CFTS reported, Ukrzaliznytsia plans to establish a network of terminals for sale of train tickets at railway stations. "In the coming weeks, we plan to install terminals for sale of tickets at the station in Kyiv. We will consistently install terminals at stations in other cities," Balczun said at a press conference in Kharkiv on May 18.
