Ukrainian cities received 34 tramcars in 2022, including 9 new (Kyiv and Lviv received 8 low-floor tramcars from international financial institutions and Odesa received 1 tramcar) and 25 used.
The CFTS portal reported this, citing the Alltransua publication.
Zaporizhia acquired 5 used tramcars, adding another Tatra KT4D from Berlin to its fleet.
In addition, Prague donated 20 tramcars to Kharkiv as humanitarian aid, including 5 older Tatra T3SUCS and 15 newer Tatra T6A5 tramcars.
"Despite the war, deliveries of trams to Lviv and Kyiv with funds from international financial institutions are continuing, and a tender was held for the delivery of new low-floor tramcars to Odesa," the publication wrote.
