The Ukrainian Railways joint-stock company (Ukrzaliznytsia) has successfully held 15 auctions for scrap metal weighing a total of 10,100, earning UAH 54.9 million.

As reported previously, 47 lots of scrap metal weighing a total of 31,300 tons were put up for auction on the ProZorro.Sales auction platform on 31 August. The total starting price of the lots was UAH 140.8 million.
Out of the 47 auctions planned for 31 August, 32 did not take place due to insufficient number of participants. Ukrzaliznytsia failed to sell 21,200 tons of scrap worth UAH 85.9 million.
The average price during the auctions was UAH 5,480 per ton.
