Bogdan Motors has concluded a new contract with the Bluebus company (France) for production of bodies for electric buses, the CFTS portal reports, citing the Interfax Ukraine news agency.

As reported earlier, Bogdan supplied six 12-meter bodies to the Bluebus company under its first contracts with the French company in 2018, thus entering the Western European market.

"The French customer was satisfied with the quality of the product and its timely production. Therefore, it decided to continue the cooperation," Bogdan spokesperson Serhii Krasulia said.

According to him, the first body under the new contract is already being produced at the company’s Lutsk plant. The total number of bodies to be delivered will be determined by supplementary agreements during the year.

Bluebus is a French manufacturer of environmentally friendly means of public transport that focuses on environmental harm.

Bohdan has stated that it is ready to supply electric buses within Ukraine if it receives orders.

As the CFTS portal reported earlier, Bogdan presented its first electric truck in November 2018. It was produced to order from the Banke Electromotive company (Denmark).

The Bogdan Motors automobile company unites the production assets of the Bogdan corporation (the Lutsk bus and trolleybus plant and the Cherkasy passenger car plant).
