The Kryukov Railcar Building Works (Kremenchuk, Poltava region) increased production of freight cars by 61.8% to 3,745 in the period of January-August 2019, compared with the same period in 2018.
The CFTS portal reported this, citing the Kremenchuk Newspaper.
In addition, the Kryukov Railcar Building Works has produced 6 passenger cars since the beginning of this year, compared with none in the period of January-July 2018.
As the CFTS portal reported earlier, the Kryukov Railcar Building Works is building a DPKr-3 regional diesel train under a contract with the Ukrainian Railways joint-stock company (Ukrzaliznytsia). The train will consist of three cars, and it will be equipped with 588-kW power plants manufactured by the Voith Turbo company (Germany).
