The Luganskteplovoz company increased production by 65% in January-November 2013, compared with the same period of 2012, the press service of the company has reported.

In the first 11 months of the year, the company produced 172 units of the 2TE116U diesel locomotive, 54 units of the 2TE116UD diesel locomotive, and six units of the 3TE116U diesel locomotive.

The company delivered 14 units of the 2TE116U diesel locomotive, eight units of the 2TE116UD diesel locomotive with power plants manufactured by General Electric, and a three-unit 3TE116U diesel locomotive to the Russian Railways in November.

It plans to deliver 12 units of the 2TE116U diesel locomotive, 12 units of the 2TE116UD diesel locomotive, and three units of the 3TE116U diesel locomotive to the Russian Railways in December. In addition, the company will deliver four units of the 2EL4 electric locomotive created to order from the State Railway Administration (Ukrzaliznytsia).

Luganskteplovoz produces mainline, shunting, and electric locomotives, alternating- and direct-current electric locomotives, and diesel trains. The company increased production by more than 70% to 162 locomotive units in 2012, compared with 2011.

In monetary terms, the company’s production volume increased by 10% to UAH 1.747 billion, its net sales revenue increased by 97% to UAH 1.694 billion, and its net profit reduced by 22.4% to UAH 55.77 million.

The company planned to produce 250 diesel locomotives in 2013. Its expected net revenue is more than UAH 3 billion.
