Container Terminal Mostyska (also known as the Mostyska Dry Port) is developing a new service involving grain stuffing (loading) into maritime containers of international container lines.
The company announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.
“We can load wagons at the elevator and stuff products into maritime containers. Then, they will go to EU ports by train,” the terminal said.
As reported earlier, the company plans to build a new covered warehouse for handling oil cakes.
In addition, the launch of a new container facility is planned at the Mostyska terminal. It will be equipped with an RMG harbor crane, which will increase the speed of cargo handling and the volume of storage. The new facility is expected to be commissioned in the third quarter of 2024.
