The Boryspil international airport handled 710,500 passengers in October, which is 1.4% more than it handled in October last year. According to the press service of the airport, the increase in passenger traffic during the month was the first to be registered since the beginning of this year.

The financial situation of the airport is also improving. According to the press service, the airport made a net profit of UAH 94 million in the first nine months of this year, compared with a loss of UAH 7.1 million in the first half of the year.

According to data from the State Aviation Service, passenger traffic at the Boryspil airport was 6.689 million during the first ten months of 2013, which is 9.4% less than the passenger traffic during the first ten months of 2012.
