The Ministry of Infrastructure intends to publish a shortlist of 3-5 candidates for the posts of heads of the State Railway Administration (Ukrzaliznytsia), the Boryspil international airport, and the Lviv airport next week (February 9-15). Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Volodymyr Omelian announced this at a press conference in Kiev on Wednesday, the Interfax Ukraine news agency reports.

"I think we will complete the procedure this week, and we will already be able to present a shortlist of three to five candidates for the posts to the minister and the public next week," he said.

According to Omelian, the dates of appointment of the selected candidates for these posts will depend on the government. For its part, the ministry intends to perform the selection procedure as quickly as possible.

As reported earlier, the Ministry of Infrastructure began searching for candidates for the posts of general directors of Ukrzaliznytsia and the two airports late last year together with experts from the Talent Advisors, EBS, and Deloitte companies. Information from candidates (CVs) was accepted from 31 December 2014 to 19 January 2015. The interview stage is currently underway.
