Kyiv has received 19 buses and three garbage trucks from its German partners, and the city has transferred them to the Kyivpastrans municipal transport utility.
This was announced by Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko, the CFTS portal reports.
"The capital of Ukraine has received help from private transport companies in four German cities: Munich, Regensburg, Hanover, and Zeven. In particular, Kyiv received 11 ordinary city buses, six long ‘accordion’ buses, and two intercity buses of the ‘Tourist’ class,” Klitschko said.
The buses will soon begin operating on routes in the Dniprovskyi and Desnianskyi districts of the capital city.
All the buses, which were manufactured by the MAN, Mercedes, and Setra companies, were recently operating on the streets of these German cities.
The three Mercedes garbage trucks, which Kyiv received from Berlin, were also transferred to the Kyivkomunservis utility company.
