The volume of rail freight transportation in Ukraine reduced by 51.1% to 140.5 million tons in the first 11 months of 2022, compared with the corresponding period of 2021.

The volumes of transportation of all types of freight had positive dynamics in the first two months of 2022, compared with the corresponding period of 2021, but it began to fall after the beginning of Russia’s military aggression.
The volume of transportation of domestic freight reduced by 48.6%, the volume of transportation of export freight by 45.8%, the volume of transportation of import freight by 68.0%, and the volume of transportation of transit freight by 75.2% in the first 11 months of 2022.
